> A structural engineer designs and verifies the load-bearing parts of a building — foundations, columns, beams, slabs and bracing — so the structure safely carries its loads and meets the National Construction Code. For certain classes of buildings, apartments for example, yes — structural and façade designs must be prepared by registered design practitioners and declared under the DBP Act.

> NCC weatherproofing certification demonstrates that a building’s external walls and envelope resist water penetration as required by the National Construction Code — under Performance Requirements. > A Form 15 is a compliance certificate for building design or specification used in Queensland, in which a competent person certifies that a design complies with the relevant provisions of the Building Code. 

> Yes.
